Enhanced conversions are Google Ads matching features that use consented first-party customer data—normalized and hashed where required—to improve the connection between conversions and ad interactions.
Why it matters
Click identifiers and browser cookies are not always available. First-party identifiers can improve match coverage, but only when data collection, consent, normalization and diagnostics are implemented correctly.
